Destination Description

The United States spans a continent so its two seaboards offer great pelagics. Its special birds are spread across all 48 contiguous states as well as northern specialities and vagrants in Alaska and the unique avifauna of Hawaii. There are birds adapted to the high sierras of the south, the plains of middle America and the montane and marsh, riverine and swamps across this vast country.
